Springhill is a unique collection of houses based on the Danish model of Co-Housing. The houses are all owned individually by the residents, but the land is owned collectively. There is a central communal building with a kitchen and dinning room, a social living area , a games room, workshop and laundry room. This common house is the hub of the community with three communal evening meals cooked and shared, regular classes and events, monthly residents meetings and a space for people to enjoy each others company.
The cars are all parked at the top of the site which allows for a safe and creative environment for everyone to enjoy below.
